Here is my version of Arthur Perigal’s painting The Fancy Dress Ball. This event took place at the Theatre Royal on Peter Street in 1828 and this venue would eventually become the Discotheque Royale so I thought it might be fun to show a selection of Perigal’s 400 characters transported in time and dancing at the disco instead…
